About Superidea
Small studio, whole products.
Superidea is an independent studio in Norway that designs and builds iPhone apps and games, most of them inspired by everyday life in India. The direction is simple: Nordic product craft, calm, private and carefully made, applied to India's stories, food, words and rituals. Distance makes the familiar visible. Every product is made end to end in-house, from the idea and the brand to the code, the 3D worlds and the motion. The studio has been running since 2014.
- 01
Start from real life
Every product begins with something people already do: getting hot food through Mumbai traffic, sharing out the family chores, a word someone grew up with. The culture is the brief.
- 02
Make it beautiful
Craft is the point, not the finish. Vada Pav Vroom's miniature India is built and lit in real-time 3D. Lafz turns each word into a small film.
- 03
Respect the person
No ads in Rally, Hymalayas, Boombai Daily or Lafz. Rally does no tracking, and Hymalayas reads your journal on your phone, never on an outside AI.
- 04
Ship, then improve
An idea only counts once it is in people's hands. Hymalayas, Boombai Daily and Lafz are live on the App Store, and four more are in the workshop.
